For us at Dreikant, 2025 was a year that demonstrated one thing above all else: just how much impact a one-of-a-kind table can have when its dimensions, materials, and craftsmanship are exceptional. As a workshop that produces solid wood tables, we’ve worked on projects that challenged us with their size, others with the unique characteristics of the wood—and some with a combination of both. In this retrospective, we’ve compiled the projects that left a particularly lasting impression on us over the past year: whether because they were technically fascinating, logistically challenging, or simply because they resulted in a designer table that you don’t see every day.

From selecting the raw slab to the final surface treatment, we oversee every project in our own Workshop—whether the end result is a dining table for indoor use or a table for outdoor use. Here, we take a closer look at six of these projects.
