In our design office, all of our bases are drafted and customised to fit the selected wood slab. The first step is to convert the raw slab into a 3D model. Using CAD software, the wood slab is digitally captured and transformed into a three-dimensional model. The 3D representation allows us to virtually position and adjust the base to achieve an optimal fit and a harmonious design. We can test different base variations and visualise their impact on the table’s overall appearance. By using 3D technology, we can also identify potential challenges or collisions early on and make the necessary adjustments. This enables efficient and precise planning before the manufacturing process begins.
Once the raw slab has been successfully transferred to a 3D environment, the design office proceeds to create the drawing for the base frame. Based on the specific requirements and the chosen design, the base frame is carefully drawn. Precise measurements, proportions, and construction details are taken into account to ensure an accurate representation.
